New Client Discount On First Exam
Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital is offering our new clients an introductory discount on your first visit to our hospital. We would love the opportunity to get to know you and your pet, and therefore, offering the first initial exam for only $35.00.
Your pet's exam will consist of:
- a thorough exam of skin, hair coat, ears, eyes, vital organs, such as heart and lungs
- an oral exam of the gums and teeth
- answering questions or issues you may have regarding your pet
- recommendations for your pet based on his/her stage of life
- review of any findings and make appropriate recommendations
- counseling on preventive care
Summer and changes are coming!
It is hard to believe but summer is almost here! That means graduations, vacations, and changes in many people’s schedules. For us, it may be exciting and a fun change of pace. However, for many of our pets it can be a time of uncertainty and unsettling changes. Fortunately, for these pets that might become upset or anxious, there are new options in the medical behavior arena that can bring a sense of calm and assurance to help them through stressful situations.
Synthetic pheromones are products that have been around for a few years, but not widely used because pet owners have not been informed and made aware of them. Pheromones are substances emitted by all animals that can affect and change the behavior of other individuals of the same species. The veterinary profession has two pheromone products, Adaptil for dogs and Feliway for cats, to help our furry family members adjust to unfamiliar situations.

Donate your gently used blankets and towels
We would greatly appreciate your donation of gently used towels or blankets.
You can drop off your items between the hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm, or Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Feel free to use the convenience of our drive-through window or come inside to our lobby and a staff member will gladly assist you. Thank you for your support and contribution!

Drive-Through Pet Service
Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital offers a pet drive-through window for your convenience. This service is especially convenient during a rainy or cold day! Simply call in your prescription at least one hour before your arrival, and your prescription will be waiting for you at our Drive-Through Window. Our Drive-Through services include food pickup, prescription refills, and services for handicapped clients.
